At Inspire & Empower Canada Network (IECN), we believe community begins with connection.

Our Community Outreach & Events initiatives create opportunities for IECN to meet people where they are, build relationships, share information and resources, and connect individuals and families with programs, services and opportunities that can help them move forward.

Through community events, workshops, outreach activities and collaborations, we aim to strengthen connections and ensure more people are aware of the resources and opportunities available within their communities.

Meeting People Where They Are

Community outreach allows IECN to listen, learn and better understand the needs, concerns and aspirations of the communities we serve.

We participate in and organize activities that bring residents, organizations, businesses, service providers and community leaders together.

Connecting People to Opportunities

Sometimes people simply don’t know where to find the support or opportunities they need.

Through our outreach activities, IECN helps connect community members with information about:

Youth Programs • Education & Training • Employment Resources • Entrepreneurship • Mentorship • Community Services • Leadership Opportunities • Volunteer Opportunities • Family Supports • Community Resources

Where appropriate, IECN may also connect individuals with organizations that provide specialized services beyond our own programs.

IECN welcomes opportunities to participate in appropriate community events that align with our mission and areas of work.

Depending on the event and availability, IECN may participate through an information table, presentation, workshop, panel discussion, resource sharing or other community engagement activity.
