Sometimes making a difference begins with something simple—a backpack for a child, groceries for a family, toiletries for someone entering a shelter, or warm clothing during the winter months.
Through IECN Gives Back™, Inspire & Empower Canada Network brings individuals, businesses, volunteers and community supporters together to respond to practical needs in our communities.
Our Community Giving & Donations initiatives help provide essential items and resources to children, youth, individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, crisis or other challenging circumstances.
What We May Collect
Depending on current community needs, giving campaigns may include:
- Non-perishable food
- Personal-care and hygiene products
- New clothing and winter items
- Backpacks and school supplies
- Children’s books and new toys
- Baby and children’s essentials
- Household necessities
- Grocery and transit gift cards
- Care-package supplies
Giving With Purpose
We want every donation to be useful.
Before launching a collection campaign, IECN seeks to identify the needs of the people or organizations being supported so that donated items are appropriate and meaningful.
Community Care Packages
IECN may organize care packages for youth, women, families, seniors and others experiencing difficult circumstances.
A care package is more than a collection of items. It is a simple way of saying:
You are seen. You matter. Your community cares.
Host a Donation Drive
Businesses, workplaces, schools, faith communities and community groups can help by organizing a collection drive for an IECN Gives Back™ initiative.

Connecting People to Opportunities
Sometimes people simply don’t know where to find the support or opportunities they need.
Through our outreach activities, IECN helps connect community members with information about:

Where appropriate, IECN may also connect individuals with organizations that provide specialized services beyond our own programs.

IECN welcomes opportunities to participate in appropriate community events that align with our mission and areas of work.
Depending on the event and availability, IECN may participate through an information table, presentation, workshop, panel discussion, resource sharing or other community engagement activity.
Host an Outreach Activity With IECN
Organizations can also collaborate with IECN to organize community-based activities.
