Helping Young People Feel Seen, Supported & Empowered
Every child and young person deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, valued and hopeful about their future.
Through IECN Gives Back™, we support initiatives that respond to the practical, educational and developmental needs of children and youth.
Our goal is not simply to provide resources. We want young people to know that their circumstances do not determine their potential.
How We May Support Young People
Initiatives may include:
- Back-to-school supplies
- Backpacks
- Books and educational resources
- New toys
- Youth care packages
- Hygiene kits
- Winter clothing
- Holiday giving
- Essential-needs support
- Gift cards
- Positive community activities
Back-to-School Support
Starting a new school year without basic supplies can create additional stress for children and families.
IECN may organize back-to-school campaigns providing backpacks, notebooks, writing supplies, lunch bags and other school essentials.
Youth Care Packages
Care packages can provide practical necessities while sending young people an important message:
You matter. You are seen. Someone cares.
More Than Giving
IECN’s broader commitment to young people includes opportunities for leadership, confidence building, life skills, mentorship, career awareness, employment readiness, entrepreneurship and community involvement.
Help Us Support Young People
Individuals, businesses and community organizations can donate items, sponsor an initiative, organize a collection or volunteer.
